Christmas Lights in Oklahoma City
To get a great overview of Oklahoma City’s Christmas lights, take a ride on the OKC streetcar. There are also displays in surrounding communities as well as two private family displays that have competed on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight.”
Automobile Alley
The annual holiday lights at Automobile Alley, located on Broadway Avenue between N.W. 4th Street and N.W. 10th Street, will be open between November 21, 2020, and January 10, 2021. It features over 180,000 LED lights that are visible from your car, or you can walk through it.
On Saturdays from November 21 through December 12 between 4 pm and 8 pm, there will be special Lights on Broadway events featuring shopping, dining, carriage rides, live music, outdoor movies, family activities, giveaways, and promotions.
Luminance and Downtown Lights in Edmond
Visit Edmond in December, and view the light displays of Luminance at Mitch Park, the First Street Baptist Church, Spring Creek Plaza, Spring Creek Village, the OC and UCO campuses, and in downtown Edmond. In addition, Mitch Park will feature interactive 3D light displays starting on November 21st. For the opening, there will be live music, pop-up shops, and food trucks. Families can enjoy ice skating at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink.
Christmas in the Park Celebration
The Christmas in the Park Celebration is a drive-thru display in Yukon. It features three miles and five million lights covering three parks. There are over 425 displays that are visible from your car or from the Chisholm Trail Park Santa Express Train. The display is open nightly from 6 pm to 11 pm.
Downs Family Lights
The Downs family light display at 2900 72nd Avenue SE, Norman was featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight.” The display features 18 miles of lights and helps collect canned food and monetary donations for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The music can be heard in your car radio at 107.1. The display will be open between November 27, 2020 and January 01, 2021 from 6 pm. To 10 pm.
Miranda Family Lights
The Miranda family of 19544 Talavera Lane, Edmond will have their 80,000 light display featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” on December 16th, but you can see it in person. It includes music and synchronized movement.
